Deutsch: Hans Eberhard Apel (* 25. Februar 1932 in Hamburg; † 6. September 2011 ebenda) war ein deutscher Politiker der SPD. Er war von 1972 bis 1974 Parlamentarischer Staatssekretär beim Bundesminister des Auswärtigen, von 1974 bis 1978 Bundesminister der Finanzen und von 1978 bis 1982 Bundesminister der Verteidigung.
English: Hans Eberhard Apel (1932-2011) was a German politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). From 1972-1974 he was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Foreign Minister. From 1974-1978 he was the Minister of Finance and from 1978-1982 he was the Minister of Defence.
